The EAO chooses facilities for landscaping

The annual voting on the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" will last until June 12. Residents of the Eastern Administrative District can vote for landscaping options in Birobidzhan and the Obluchensky district.

As the regional government told IA EAOmedia, starting this year, the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" is part of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life". Citizens can choose which public spaces should be renovated in their region with federal funds.

Three projects are participating in the voting from the EAO. Two of them are in the village of Teploozersk, and another is a design project for the Paperin Park.

The program has been implemented in the autonomous region since 2017. During this time, it was possible to carry out 193 measures to improve public spaces.

Earlier it was reported that a skate park and a cable car can be built in Birobidzhan in the Paper Square. Two location options are presented for voting as part of the All-Russian vote for the selection of landscaping facilities. The first project provides for the creation of several functional areas, including a cable car and a skate park. As part of the second project, it is possible to create a modern playground that will become a center of attraction for families with children.
