- Krasnov considered it callous to cancel regional payments to the families of the deceased participants of his

Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov held a personal reception for residents of the Trans-Baikal Territory, in particular, issues of support for the families of participants in the special operation were raised. This was reported on June 6 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
"The problems with which citizens turned to the Prosecutor General of Russia, in most cases concerned the protection of their social rights," the publication says.
In particular, Krasnov's personal participation was required in resolving the issue of obtaining support measures for the families of participants in a special military operation. So, he was approached by the widow of a fighter from Chita, who could not receive a regional payment.
"Helping the families of participants in a special military operation is the primary task of the state. In this sense, it is very difficult for me to understand the cancellation of previously valid assistance. I consider this to be a manifestation of formalism and callousness," Krasnov stressed.
In addition, he instructed to check the observance of the rights of participants in special operations and their families in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
On June 2, the government commission on legislative activity approved an initiative according to which participants in a special military operation (SVO) who were unable to resume service due to their health condition within three months will receive financial assistance. Also, the suspension of their employment contract or service contract will be extended for the period of temporary disability.
