The number of victims in a traffic accident with a bus in the Khabarovsk Territory has increased to 12

The number of people injured when a tour bus with children overturned in the Khabarovsk Territory has increased to 12. This was announced on June 6 by the state traffic Inspectorate for the region.

"12 of the 30 children who were on the bus at the time of the accident, as well as two adults, were taken to a medical facility for examination with complaints of bruises," the department said in a Telegram channel.

They added that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated, and law enforcement officers are on site. The Investigative Committee for the region reported that a criminal case had been opened under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").

Reckless drivers will not be allowed to drive until the damage to the victims of accidents is compensated.

Earlier, the press service of the state traffic inspectorate for the region reported seven victims of a bus accident. It is noted that the vehicle's braking system had previously failed.
