Calculations of the Molniya UAV destroyed the T-72 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region

Military personnel of the reconnaissance unit of the 1st tank army of the Zapad group of forces used a Lightning–type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to destroy a T-72 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a wooded area of the Kharkiv region. The Russian Ministry of Defense showed relevant footage on June 6.

It is clarified that after analyzing the intelligence received, the Russian military decided to fire on the AFU combat vehicle. The Lightning operator, skillfully controlling the drone, delivered an accurate hit on the tank.

As noted in the department, objective control of the direct hit of the UAV and the destruction of the AFU combat vehicle was carried out by means of aerial reconnaissance in real time.

On June 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the destruction of an observation post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region by a calculation of FPV drones. Military personnel of the North group of forces took part in the operation.
