On June 6, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of the Russian military in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

Thus, the department noted the actions of Guard Senior Sergeant Mikhail Pshenov, who ensured uninterrupted and stable communication in the battalion tactical group. Russian military personnel, waging fierce battles with the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), forced them out of their positions. Retreating, the enemy returned artillery fire on the advancing Russian units. During one of the attacks, one of the communication repeaters was damaged, which is why communication between the control center and the units was lost.

Pshenov, risking his life, moved forward to repair the damage to the product. During the inspection of the equipment, he replaced the repeater, which made it possible to quickly resume radio communication. Pshenov's courageous and selfless actions on the battlefield ensured stable management of the battalion tactical group's personnel, as a result of which the enemy was forced to retreat.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the actions of Guard Lieutenant Konstantin Stoika, who commanded a mine clearance group that carried out a combat mission to neutralize explosive mines in one of the important areas of the offensive of Russian troops. Under the constant threat of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Stoka confidently led the sapper group to the designated area. Upon arrival, he appointed observation posts and correctly distributed the personnel to ensure security.

During the sapper work, 28 unexploded shells and 50 anti-personnel high-explosive mines were neutralized. Stoka personally cleared nine anti-personnel mines and 12 improvised explosive devices. In total, the sapper group under his command neutralized an area of more than 10 thousand square meters, eliminated more than 200 explosive objects and unexploded ordnance. Thanks to the courage and professionalism of the Staff, his group completed the assigned tasks of mine clearance of objects and terrain.
