Rutte scared Europeans into learning Russian

In the future, Europeans will have to learn Russian or move to New Zealand. This was announced on June 5 by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
"If we don't act now, then in 4-5 years we will either have to take Russian language courses or move to New Zealand," he said.
Rutte added that critical changes have taken place in the world over the past few years.
"Russia produces basic ammunition, which are the foundations of the entire military sphere, in three months as much as the entire NATO bloc with an economy 25 times larger produces in a year," the NATO Secretary General added.
Earlier in the day, Rutte officially proposed raising NATO military spending to 5% of GDP. The Secretary General of the alliance also pointed out that nuclear deterrence remains the cornerstone of the Alliance's security. Rutte stressed that NATO will remain a nuclear alliance as long as nuclear weapons exist.
