Trump spoke about his disappointment with Musk because of his criticism


On June 5, US President Donald Trump said he was extremely disappointed with businessman and former head of the US government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk after his harsh remarks about the budget bill.
"I am very disappointed with Ilon, I helped Ilon a lot," the American leader said during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
The American leader suggested that Musk was upset that the White House administration had lifted the mandate for electric vehicles. In addition, Trump spoke about the situation when the billionaire recommended his friend for the position of head of NASA, and noted that he did not consider such behavior appropriate. but the American president said he did not consider it appropriate.
"He wore this hat: 'Trump was right about everything.' And I'm right about the "large-scale and brilliant [budget] bill." We call this a "large—scale and brilliant bill" because that's what it is," the president stressed.
Musk on June 3 called the new draft budget proposed by the Trump administration a disgusting abomination. On June 4, American political scientist Malek Dudakov, in an interview with Izvestia, suggested that the entrepreneur criticized the budget project because he advocates tougher cuts in government spending.
