Police are looking for a newborn who left a package under the windows of an apartment building in the village of Dubrovka, Leningrad region. This was announced on June 5 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

"A package with a newborn girl was found under the windows of house 11 on Tomilina Street in the village of Dubrovka," the department's Telegram channel reported.

It is clarified that the child was hospitalized, and the police are taking measures to find and identify the mother. An investigation is underway into the incident.

On June 2, the Interior Ministry opened a case against a resident of Podolsk who had beaten her 10-year-old daughter. It was established that a local resident born in 1988 was intoxicated and started a conflict with her minor child.
