Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that a significant cold snap is expected in Moscow on Tuesday, June 10.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Thursday, June 5, the expert noted that weather swings should be expected in the capital.

According to him, on Friday, June 6, the air temperature will be +24...+26 degrees, there will be short-term rains. This will be due to the passage of the blurred frontal section. Over the weekend, the thermometer will show +27...+29 degrees, on Monday — up to +30 ...+32 degrees.

Local thunderstorms are also possible over the weekend, despite the high temperatures. They will thunder everywhere on Tuesday after the heat peak. After the thunderstorm front, there will be a significant drop in temperature to +20 degrees.

Earlier in the day, Shuvalov, in an interview with RT, said that the temperature in the reservoirs of the capital was approaching optimal for the opening of the bathing season. It will be about +20 degrees.

Also on June 5, nutritionist Margarita Koroleva called for drinking water with lemon and ginger in hot weather. According to her, sugary carbonated drinks do not help quench thirst. Salt can be added to the water to prevent dehydration, especially in hot countries, notes 360.ru .

On the same day, an "orange" weather hazard level was announced in the capital due to the intense heat from June 7 to June 10, the Moscow City News agency reports.

On June 4, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, warned that intense rains and the first summer thunderstorm were expected in Moscow on Friday, June 6.
