Xi Jinping called on the United States to reverse negative measures against China

The United States should be realistic about the progress made at the Geneva talks and reverse negative measures against China. This was announced on June 5 by Chinese President Xi Jinping during telephone talks with US President Donald Trump.
"After the Geneva talks <...>, the United States should take a realistic look at the progress made and reverse the negative measures taken against China," Xi Jinping said, as quoted by China Central Television (CCTV).
They clarified that during the conversation, the Chinese leader also pointed out the importance of intensifying cooperation between the two countries in various fields and invited the American president to visit China.
Later, Trump positively assessed his dialogue, devoted, in his words, exclusively to trade issues, with Xi Jinping. The conversation lasted about an hour and a half and "ended with a very positive conclusion," the US president said.
"During the conversation, President Xi Jinping kindly invited the First Lady and me to visit China, and I reciprocated. As presidents of two great powers, we are both looking forward to this," Trump wrote on his page on the Truth Social network.
Earlier in the day, the Xinhua news agency reported that the Chinese president held telephone talks with the US president.
On May 30, Trump said he was confident of holding a conversation with Xi Jinping in the near future. He noted that China had violated a significant part of the trade agreement concluded with the United States to reduce mutual duties.
