The media pointed to Zelensky's inability to establish a dialogue with Trump

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was unable to establish a constructive dialogue with American leader Donald Trump even after completing a "communication course" with the head of the White House. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on June 5, citing sources.
"Zelensky and his team prepared diligently, having listened to what could be called an express course from key Republicans on Capitol Hill <...> on how to interact with President [Trump]," the publication says.
Despite this, the talks between Zelensky and Trump at the White House ended in an altercation. As noted by "Gazeta.En", world politicians were very concerned about participating in Trump's new "reality show" and learned a lesson from what happened in the Oval Office.
On February 28, during Zelensky's visit to the White House, a verbal altercation took place between Trump and Zelensky. The American president accused his Ukrainian counterpart of disrespecting the United States. The Ukrainian leader was also criticized by US Vice President Jay Dee Vance. After the incident, Zelensky left the White House earlier than scheduled.
