The expert gave advice when choosing a supported car

When buying a used car, it is important to carefully inspect the body and check its legal purity, Maxim Agadzhanov, Managing Director of Alfa-Leasing Group, told Izvestia on June 5.

"Special attention should be paid to the shades of paintwork — differences may indicate repairs after an accident. However, repainting does not always mean serious damage: sometimes it is the result of minor scratches or parking incidents," the specialist noted.

He also recommended paying attention to the gaps between the body elements: uneven distances between the hood and the fenders can be an alarming sign. To fully assess the condition of the car, it is better to carry out diagnostics on the lift, especially paying attention to the lower part of the body.

The spars are an important indicator of the condition of the car. If corrosion, dents, or metal tears are visible on the spars, this indicates serious problems. Repairs can be expensive, so you should think carefully before buying.

The specialist emphasized that cars from leasing companies arouse more confidence, as they undergo a full inspection.

"The average price of a used car is about 900 thousand rubles, while new models cost from 1.5 million. Some cars even increase in price over time, which makes them a profitable investment," he added.

According to the expert's forecasts, the demand for supported cars can raise prices by 10%, but a sharp jump is not expected. Dealer stocks and leasing company effluents will provide the market for several more months.
