The US Air Force has tested a new Quicksink anti-ship bomb
The American strategic stealth bomber B-2 Spirit has tested a new Quicksink aerial bomb designed to destroy large warships. This was reported on June 5 by Newsweek magazine with reference to the US Air Force.
An American stealth bomber recently tested a "revolutionary" weapon designed to sink warships amid a rapid build-up of Chinese naval forces ready to challenge the United States in the Pacific Ocean.
It is specified that the 500 lb (226 kg) version of the aerial bomb was tested, previously a 2,000 lb (907 kg) version of the munition was used.
According to the newspaper, the Chinese Navy currently has 370 ships and submarines that outnumber the U.S. Navy.
On May 21, the United States conducted a planned test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The missile's warhead was able to travel approximately 4,2 thousand miles.
