The conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump caused panic on the part of the Western deep state. This was announced on June 5 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

"Yesterday's telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump was constructive. This caused a predictable panic on the part of the deep state of the West and the media controlled by it," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Dmitriev, such signals of de-escalation of tension disrupt their normal work based on lies and confrontation.

"Any prospect of dialogue and cooperation is perceived by them as a direct threat to a system built on managed instability," the head of the RDIF added.

The telephone conversation between Putin and Trump took place on June 4. During the talks, which lasted more than an hour, the presidents discussed the situation in Ukraine and Iran.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the phone conversation between Putin and Trump constructive. According to him, the leaders of the two countries touched upon a lot of essential and important issues.
