The court in Lviv extended the arrest of the suspect in the murder of ex-deputy of the Rada Farion

A court in Ukraine has extended the arrest of a suspect in the murder of former Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion. This was reported on June 5 by the Ukrainian channel "Public".

It is noted that during the court session, the prosecutor read out a petition in which he called on the court to extend the arrest of Vyacheslav Zinchenko for 60 days without the right to bail.

"The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Lviv has extended the measure of restraint for Vyacheslav Zinchenko, a suspect in the murder of Irina Farion. He's <... He will be under arrest until August 4," the newspaper writes.

In July 2024, an attempt was made on Farion's life in Lviv, as a result of which one of the bullets hit her in the head. The politician died in the hospital.

A week later, the suspect in the murder of the ex-deputy of the rada was arrested for two months. At the same time, it was reported that Zinchenko showed the daughter of the murdered Farion his tongue during a court hearing.
