IAEA experts will be notified about the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the ZAES training center

Specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) were at the Zaporizhia NPP at the time of the drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the training center of the station, they will be notified of the strikes. This was announced on June 5 by Evgenia Yashina, Director of Communications at ZAES.

"During the attack by the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the building of the training center of the station, where the world's only full-scale simulator of the reactor hall is located, the IAEA inspectors were at the site of the nuclear power plant. They will be notified of the next strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," she told TASS.

Yashina clarified that no other strikes were recorded on the territory of the power plant or its satellite city of Energodar.

Another strike on the training center of the station became known earlier that day. The station's press service noted that no critical damage had been recorded after the UAV strikes.
