The UK has opened a criminal case into the attack of drones by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Rylsk in the Kursk region.

A criminal case has been opened into attacks by Ukrainian militants on civilian facilities in the city of Rylsk, Kursk region. This was announced on Thursday, June 5, by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the Investigative Committee, on the night of June 3 to 4, the armed formations of Ukraine (VFU) using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked residential buildings. A 66-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She was interrogated by military investigators and described in detail the circumstances of the incident.

During the inspection of the scene, the destruction of four private residential buildings was also recorded. Work is currently underway with the affected residents, and forensic examinations have been appointed to assess the damage. The investigation establishes the militants involved.

"The Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case under paragraphs "a", "b", part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act")," the report said.

The day before, military investigators opened a criminal case in connection with the injury of a resident of the Kursk region as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was noted that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using an FPV drone, attacked a car in the village of Artyushkovo, Rylsky district, as a result of which a woman was injured.
