The Gaza Ministry of Health reported 70 dead and almost 190 injured during the day.
At least 70 people were killed and another 189 civilians were injured as a result of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip. This was announced on June 5 by the press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health.
"Over the past 24 hours, 70 victims have been admitted to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, <...> 189 [people] have been injured," the department's Telegram channel said.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 54,677 people have been killed and 125,500 injured since the beginning of the armed conflict.
The day before, Al Jazeera TV channel reported that at least 18 people, including children, were killed in an air attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on a school in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. According to the newspaper, many of the displaced persons were recently displaced from eastern Khan Yunis.
