The acceptance of applications for the "Furniture of the Year" award has begun

On June 3, applications for the annual furniture industry award "Furniture of the Year" began, the press service of Avito, the organizer of the event, reported.

"More than 22 million people search for furniture and interior items on Avito every month, and the number of ads in the section exceeds 25 million. Thanks to the award, we help both sides build a trusting dialogue for many years to come, so that it is easy for buyers to find and choose high—quality furniture from domestic manufacturers, and for manufacturers to maintain and raise quality standards, gain recognition and prestige," comments Nikita Tkachev, head of the Furniture and Interior category at Avito.

Applications will be accepted until August 31. Pieces of furniture made at least in a single copy in the last three years are allowed to participate. Applications are accepted in six categories — "Living room and bedroom furniture", "Kitchens and dining area", "Children's furniture", "Furniture for public and outdoor spaces", "Decor/Interior" and "Avito Recognition". The names of the 2025 winners will be announced at a ceremony in November.

"Furniture of the Year" is an industry award that unites manufacturers, designers, and craftsmen in the field of furniture and decor production.

Last year, almost 3,000 applications were submitted for the award, and 37 furniture manufacturing companies became the winners of various nominations. All of them had the opportunity to present their work at the Moscow Design Museum in the New Tretyakov Gallery as part of the exhibition "Russian Design 1915-2025", which opened on June 3.
