Electricity supply restored in three districts of the Kherson region
Electricity supply was restored in three districts of the Kherson region. This was announced on June 5 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region.
"At 12:00, power supply was restored in the Ivanovo district, Genichesky District, Nizhneserogozsky district," the department's Telegram channel says.
At the moment, the Toletikhsky, Gornostayevsky, Verkhnerogachiksky districts and partly the Novotroitskiy district of the Kherson region remain without electricity.
On the same day, the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, announced the shelling of the Kherson region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As a result, more than 120,000 people living in 192 settlements in seven municipal districts (MO) were left without electricity and water.
Later, the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel that in the Kherson region, specialists connected water pumping stations to emergency power sources. Also, the supply of drinking and industrial water was organized for residents.
In addition, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reported that it is planned to restore power supply in the settlements of the region by 18:00 Moscow time. 37 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment are involved in eliminating the consequences of the shelling.
