Two-time Russian football champion Bakaev left Zenit

Two-time champion of Russia, midfielder Zelimkhan Bakayev has left the Zenit football club from St. Petersburg. This was announced on June 5 on the official website of the blue-white-blues.

"Zenit Football Club thanks Zelimkhan Bakayev and wishes him good luck in his future career," the publication says.

Bakayev became a part of Zenit on June 15, 2022. In the fall of 2023, on loan, he played for the Al-Wahda club from the UAE, after which the player played for Khimki.

Together with Zenit, he managed to become a two-time champion of Russia, won the Cup and two Super Cups of the country.
