Ukraine reports increased support for Ukraine according to the "Danish model"

Kiev expects to receive €1.3 billion from its partners to finance the military industry according to the "Danish model" in 2025. This was announced on June 5 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, citing the head of the department, Rustem Umerov.
It is clarified that the "Danish model" implies the financing of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC) by other countries. These funds will be used to finance the production of artillery, attack drones, missiles and anti-tank guns.
"Defense support for Ukraine according to the Danish model will be scaled up to €1.3 billion as early as 2025," the ministry wrote on its Telegram channel.
According to Umerov, Kiev expects to receive the first tranche of €428 million from Denmark, Iceland, Canada, Norway and Sweden in the near future. He added that part of these funds will be taken from the proceeds from frozen Russian assets.
On June 4, the press service of the Danish Ministry of Defense announced that Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as Canada and Iceland, would allocate 3.2 billion crowns ($490 million) to Kiev for the purchase of weapons according to the "Danish model" from the Ukrainian military-industrial complexes (MIC). It is specified that the purchase will be carried out through the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in order to increase their production capacity.
