Russians were warned about the postponement of pension payments in June

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said that some Russian pensioners receive June payments earlier than usual.
In conversation with aif.ru On Thursday, June 5, the specialist explained that this was due to the days off from June 12th to 15th.
"If the date of receiving the pension falls on these days, the payment will be made on June 10-11 (before the holidays). First of all, it concerns those who receive pensions through a bank," Balynin said.
According to him, if a pensioner is paid by a postman or receives it himself at a Russian Post office, the date can be specified there. The expert stressed that in any case, if the day off coincides with the pension payment day, it will be paid in advance.
On the same day, Balynin said that from July 1, Russians who turned 80 years old will begin to receive a monthly doubled fixed pension payment. In 2025, the payout is 8,907.70 rubles. Starting from July 1, it will double to 17,815.4 rubles, according to NSN.
On June 3, the press service of the Social Fund of Russia announced that some pensioners would be given pensions in June ahead of the scheduled payment date. The changes will be related to the holiday weekend in honor of Russia Day, notes 360.ru . The terms of early pension payments will be indicated in each region separately, writes RT.
