The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, visited Washington to receive an ultimatum from the United States to end the conflict. This was announced on June 4 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.

According to him, the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the United States is just a cover.

"Ermak came to receive an ultimatum to end the <conflict>. Perhaps they will cover him with some kind of "peremogami", but in general, the matter is clear - everything is coming to an end," Dubinsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

The deputy noted that the meeting of the delegations of Ukraine and the United States does not make sense after the telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump. "Газета.Ru ".

On June 3, Yermak announced that he had arrived in the United States as part of a Ukrainian delegation headed by the country's Minister of Economy, Yulia Sviridenko. According to him, the meeting was planned to discuss tougher sanctions against Russia, support for Ukraine and an agreement on the creation of an investment fund for the reconstruction of the country.

As political analyst Ivan Mezyuho noted in an interview with Izvestia, the visit of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine indicates the unwillingness of the White House to see Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. The expert did not rule out that during the contacts the United States demonstrates the scale of Washington's influence on Ukraine.
