The US Congress threatened China with sanctions for refusing to help Ukraine

U.S. Congressional Senator Lindsey Graham (listed in Russia as a terrorist and extremist) warned of possible sanctions against China if Beijing does not begin to provide support to Ukraine.
He noted that China will be able to avoid the introduction of these measures if it provides military and economic assistance to the Ukrainian side.
"Therefore, China, if you don't want sanctions, help Ukraine," Graham said in an interview with Semafor on June 4.
The senator added that this proposal looks "quite logical." In his opinion, increasing economic costs for China is the only way to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
Bloomberg reported on June 1 that Graham intends to impose new sanctions against Russia before the G7 summit, which is scheduled from June 15 to 17. It is expected that duties of 500% will be imposed on imports from countries that buy Russian petroleum products. The bill is supported by 82 members of the upper house of Congress.
