Rospotrebnadzor staff establishes the cause of the illness of eight children on the Yekaterinburg — Anapa train. This was announced on June 5 by the press service of the department.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the disease was a norovirus infection. At the moment, the children are hospitalized, doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.
"Rospotrebnadzor employees carry out anti-epidemic and disinfection measures. Flushes from surfaces, samples of finished products, and water samples were taken," it follows from the material.
Specialists also examine contact persons and conduct laboratory tests.
Earlier, on January 17, it was reported that up to 30 people were poisoned at the Duslyk children's educational and wellness center in Kazan. At that time, 10 children were found to have norovirus in their bodies, and an investigation was conducted to identify the causes of the diseases. It was clarified that experts found violations of the regime of washing floors, processing dishes and inventory, disinfection and the frequency of cleaning the premises.
