Investigators will deal with the issue of deprivation of citizenship of families whose children trampled on the flag with the image of St. George's Ribbon in Obninsk. This was stated to TASS by Oleg Kalugin, Minister of Internal Policy of the Kaluga Region.

"The families have left, but it is important to complete all legal procedures. They are recent citizens of Russia, and their citizenship should be terminated. They left today and arrived tomorrow," he said.

According to him, the governor of the region stated on this issue that it was necessary to "terminate citizenship." At the moment, this is being handled by employees of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Kaluga region.

Kalugin also noted that families will be able to come to Russia again if the procedure for revoking citizenship is not carried out, but in another region.
