Russian Guards from small arms hit a Ukrainian UAV in the LPR

Russian Guards fired small arms at a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on June 5 by the press service of the department.

It is specified that an aircraft-type drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was discovered at night near one of the settlements. It was located at an altitude of 150 m and was moving at a speed of more than 80 km/h.

"The personnel of the mobile firing group opened fire on the drone with a machine gun and machine guns. As a result of the fire action, the aerial target was hit," the press service said.

After falling in a remote location, the UAV detonated and burned down. During the search and reconnaissance activities at the crash site, fragments of the hull, an engine with a propeller, electronic elements and damaging elements were found.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) attack aircraft on Su-25 aircraft destroyed the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces. It is noted that the missile launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes.
