Military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) deployed "conveyors" for the assembly of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in forest plantations near the border with the Sumy region. On June 5, Izvestia showed footage of the work of Russian fighters.

"The fighters are deploying a small assembly line for the Lightning drone right in the forest plantation. Here they are prepared, loaded and sent for takeoff," correspondent Emil Timashev said.

The UAV calculation includes two fighters who assemble the wings of drones in the field, attach projectiles and an antenna to them, and connect communications.

A soldier with the call sign Grizzly is a pilot, and Macaw is a mechanical engineer. Both have more than 200 combat missions to their credit. According to Russian fighters, Molniya drones are capable of traveling 10-20 km more than an FPV drone, since their designs are more powerful.

Earlier, on May 31, a Molniya UAV crew eliminated a D-30 artillery piece of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the special military operation zone. It was clarified that during aerial reconnaissance, a camouflaged howitzer firing position was discovered in a forest plantation.
