The Hyacinth-B howitzer crew destroyed the AFU drone control center in Zaporizhia

The artillery crew of the 152-millimeter howitzer 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" of the Anapa Guards Artillery Regiment of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Unit from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhiv direction in the Zaporizhia region. On June 5, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
According to the department, the main task of the calculations is counter-battery warfare. Paratrooper gunners inflict fire damage on fortified areas, points of temporary deployment of AFU personnel, strong points and enemy equipment, as well as destroy its control points with unmanned aircraft.
It is emphasized that the scouts of the Novorossiysk paratroopers using a drone discovered an enemy UAV control point deep in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian militants, from where they launched reconnaissance drones to reconnoiter the advanced positions of the Russian Armed Forces.
The scouts immediately transmitted information about the Ukrainian UAV control center to the gunners for fire damage using Hyacinth-B. During the combat work on the target, the artillery crew of the towed Hyacinth-B cannon destroyed the enemy's drone control point with precise shots and stopped all his attempts to launch reconnaissance drones towards our positions.
"They actively conducted counter-battery warfare, that is, they suppressed enemy guns, suppressed UAV calculations. As a rule, I work as a projectile, that is, I load the projectile, or as a messenger, that is, I send the projectile. We work intensively. Our work is tied to the activity of infantry assault units and the activity of enemy guns," said a Russian serviceman with the call sign Buryat.
Russian paratrooper gunners fired from a closed firing position at a range of over 20 km. The detection of the enemy and further adjustment of the cannon fire were carried out using drones. After completing the combat work, they disguised the guns and promptly left the firing position, taking refuge in pre-prepared defensive structures.
On June 4, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian military personnel had destroyed an AFU firing point in the Donetsk People's Republic with the help of the Mole robot complex. The work of the "Mole" was adjusted by calculating the drone.
