US President Donald Trump is losing patience with American entrepreneur Elon Musk because of his criticism of the bill on reducing government spending. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal on June 4, citing sources.

"The billionaire's attacks on Trump's tax bill undermine his relationship with the president," the publication added.

The newspaper's interlocutors noted that Musk, who previously oversaw the Department for improving the efficiency of the American government (DOGE) in the White House administration, had long been disappointed about the new bill.

According to sources, Trump's withdrawal of Jared Isaakman's candidacy for the post of director of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) prompted the entrepreneur to move to more aggressive statements on this matter.

Musk on June 3 called the new draft budget proposed by the Trump administration a disgusting abomination. On June 4, American political scientist Malek Dudakov, in an interview with Izvestia, suggested that the entrepreneur criticized the budget project because he advocates tougher cuts in government spending.
