- Poland reported on the storage of weapons by a private company on the border with Ukraine

A Polish private company illegally stored weapons and ammunition in a warehouse in the town of Lashki, located on the border with Ukraine. This was announced on June 4 by the press secretary of the regional prosecutor's office in Przemysl Marta Petkovska.
"The prosecutor's office in Przemysl has launched an investigation <...> into the illegal possession of weapons and ammunition and their storage by a limited liability company in the city of Laski," the press secretary said in a statement.
She noted that the found weapons are not the property of the Polish army. According to her, measures are currently being taken to determine the source of the weapons and their recipient.
In addition, RMF FM radio station reported that the warehouse belongs to a private company from Poland that transports weapons to Ukraine. It is specified that the carrier for some reason did not complete the delivery and left the cargo unattended.
Charge d'affaires of Poland in Ukraine Piotr Lukasiewicz announced on May 16 that the Polish side soon intends to decommission Soviet MiG-29 fighters and may transfer them to Kiev.
