- The WSJ reported on the US refusal to transfer the promised missile components to Ukraine.

Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth gave the order to redirect to the needs of the Air Force US missile fuses (UAVs) promised to Ukraine. On June 4, The Wall Street Journal reported this, citing sources.
"The administration of [US President Donald] Trump is redirecting key anti—drone technology intended for Ukraine to American troops, which indicates a weakening of the Pentagon's commitment to the defense of Kiev," the publication says.
It is specified that the fuses of the missiles that Kiev uses to intercept drones will be redirected to the US military in the Middle East. According to the interlocutors of the publication, Hegseth notified the American Congress of this decision last week.
The newspaper drew attention to the fact that such a move caused concern among supporters of the Kiev regime on Capitol Hill. The decision to send fuses to Ukraine was made during the administration of former President Joe Biden.
Political scientist Konstantin Blokhin told Izvestia on June 4 that the United States had lost interest in the conflict in Ukraine and was tired of Kiev's problems. He noted that Trump tried to play the role of a peacemaker, but it did not work out due to the positions of Kiev and European countries.
