The Ministry of Emergency Situations announced plans to post information about bomb shelters on Public Services

Addresses of bomb shelters in all regions of Russia may appear on the Gosuslug portal by the end of 2025. This was announced on June 4 by Sergey Starovoitov, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Defense and Population Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Every citizen will be able to log into his personal account at Gosuslugi, click on a special tab and see which shelter he is assigned to, where to go in case of an emergency," the Parliamentary Newspaper quotes Starovoitov as saying.

He added that the portal also plans to post information about the points where you should arrive in case of an announced evacuation. According to Starovoitov, the system has already been tested in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. It is planned to be extended to the whole country by the end of the year.

Starovoitov also said that the restoration of protective structures in all regions of the country is also expected to be completed by 2030.

Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov said on April 29 that every specialist, including teachers, counselors, rescuers and police officers, should be ready at a critical moment to minimize risks and save lives by their actions.
