- More than 67 thousand people were left without electricity due to the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region

In the Kherson region, more than 67,000 people and 29 social facilities were left without electricity as a result of a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 4 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"Three municipalities remain without electricity — Genichesky, Ivanovsky and Nizhneserogozsky. These are 97 settlements, 67,980 people and 29 socially significant objects," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Saldo added that all facilities are connected to backup power supplies. Later, the governor announced that residents of the Novotroitsk district had also lost electricity.
He also noted that the strike on the main transformer substation is a direct consequence of the targeted attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilian infrastructure. According to him, the power engineers have already started restoration work, but the process is complicated by the fact that repairs are impossible at night due to the ongoing threat of UAV attacks.
On June 3, Baldo reported that more than 100,000 residents of 150 settlements in the Kherson region were left without electricity as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the region. Later that day, the governor announced the restoration of the Kakhovskaya–Dudkino power supply line in the region. He specified that over 70 people and 30 units of special equipment were involved in the work.
