Embankment instead of emergency pedestrian bridge will appear on Sokol in Lipetsk

In Lipetsk, a repeat auction was announced for the construction of an embankment near the emergency pedestrian bridge over the log river in the area of house No. 21b on 40 let Oktyabrya Street. This is reported by GOROD48 with reference to data from the office of the chief caretaker.

The maximum cost of the work contract is 9 million rubles. The contractor will have to fill the log with earth and sand, seal the embankment and lay an asphalt footpath on top of it.

The height of the embankment will be more than 6 m, and the length of the footpath will be 75 m. Large-diameter pipes will be laid under the embankment to allow the passage of meltwater and rainwater.

The facility will appear parallel to the old emergency iron bridge, which has been officially banned for more than two years.

The publication clarifies that the first auction to find a contractor was declared invalid because no bids were received. The work was supposed to be completed by August 30, but now the construction time will be shifted by a month.
