Five heating points have been installed on the Island and more than 10 km of networks have been laid.

The modernization of heat supply facilities is being completed in the Ostrov-3 microdistrict in the city of Ostrov, Pskov region. This is reported by the Territorial Development Fund.

"Housing and communal services facilities are being built and renovated in the military town of Ostrov-3. Currently, the construction of five central heating points with the laying of 10.6 km of intra—block hot water supply networks is at the final stage," the report says.

According to the Pskov news feed, the heating points themselves have already been installed, and the networks have been laid. Specialists are carrying out commissioning and testing of new pipelines for durability. After that, subscribers will switch to the new system.

In addition, the construction of sewage treatment plants continues in Ostrov-3. Their capacity will be 4 thousand cubic meters per day. According to the regional Committee for Construction and Housing, the contractor is already testing communications and cleaning units, checking how the equipment works.

Also, the construction of an administrative building and a membrane filtration unit is almost completed on the territory. Workers are preparing to install storage and fire fighting tanks.
