American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk wanted to continue his work in the White House, but was refused by the American authorities. This was reported on June 4 by the British newspaper The Telegraph, citing sources.

"Musk asked for permission to stay in order to make more progress towards his goal of reducing costs by 1 trillion, but he was told that this was not possible," the publication says.

It is noted that after leaving office, the billionaire brought problems to the administration of US President Donald Trump with his harsh reaction to the White House budget project on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"His intervention <...> caused shock in Washington, where Trump has already had to fight to get his bill through Congress," the article says.

On May 29, Musk announced that his term of office as a special civil servant was coming to an end. He also thanked Trump for the "opportunity to reduce wasteful spending" by the government. On May 30, the billionaire noted that he felt in a difficult position in the department due to disagreements with administration officials. According to the entrepreneur, he did not fully agree with many things, although it is difficult to admit this in an interview.
