The emergency landing of the Mi-8T helicopter (registration number RA-25323) of Yeltsovka Airlines in the Parabelsky district of the Tomsk Region was classified by Rosaviation specialists as an aviation incident, department spokesman Artyom Korenyako said on June 4.

It is noted that the aircraft was flying on the Parabel – Berezkino route, but was forced to land shortly after takeoff.

"Technical specialists are assessing the condition of the aircraft and the operability of its systems. There were 20 people on board the helicopter: three crew members and 17 passengers were not injured," he said in his Telegram channel.

The commission of the West Siberian Interregional Territorial Administration (MTU) of the Federal Air Transport Agency should establish the causes of the incident and take measures to prevent such incidents.

Earlier on June 4, the Transport Prosecutor's Office began checking the circumstances of the forced landing of a helicopter during the performance of aviation operations by the Yeltsovka Aviation company in the Tomsk region. It was clarified that the agency is investigating whether the safety requirements were met when operating the helicopter and performing work.
