The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund stated the importance of the dialogue between Putin and Trump for the world

The dialogue between the Presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, is important for the security of peace and de-escalation. This was announced on June 4 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

"The conversation between Putin and Trump has ended. The stakes couldn't be higher. Their dialogue is necessary for peace, de-escalation and global security," he said on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

What else did Putin and Trump talk about on the phone for more than two hours 

Earlier in the day, Trump spoke about telephone conversations with Putin. According to him, they lasted one hour and 15 minutes. It was clarified that the leaders of the countries discussed the situation with the conflict in Ukraine and Iran's nuclear program.
