The Rolls-Royce driver who ran over a motorcyclist in St. Petersburg has been arrested until July 31. This was reported on June 4 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Krasnoselsky District Court of the city.

Sosorev will remain in custody for one month and 29 days. Speaking to reporters, the man said he apologized to the victim's relatives and compensated him for the damage. He added that the cause of the accident was his carelessness.

The incident occurred on June 1 at the intersection of Peterhof Highway and Admiral Tributs Street in St. Petersburg. The next day, on June 2, the motorcyclist informed Izvestia about the preparations for the operation. At that time, law enforcement officers had already identified the driver of the car.
