Sosorev will remain in custody for one month and 29 days. Speaking to reporters, the man said he apologized to the victim's relatives and compensated him for the damage. He added that the cause of the accident was his carelessness.

The incident occurred on June 1 at the intersection of Peterhof Highway and Admiral Tributs Street in St. Petersburg.
