The Electoral Council in the Netherlands is considering the possibility of holding early parliamentary elections in the country on October 29. This was reported on June 4 by Bloomberg.

"The Netherlands may hold general elections as early as October 29, as far—right leader Geert Wilders withdrew his Freedom Party from the Dutch government when his coalition partners rejected the latest proposals to limit immigration," the material says.

In addition, it is clarified that the leadership of the council has already notified the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Affairs about this.

Earlier, on June 3, Prime Minister Dick Schof announced that the Dutch government was resigning following the withdrawal of the far-right Freedom Party (PVV) from the ruling coalition. Then he also added that the rest of the country's government would serve as interim.
