It would be right if the maternal family capital was paid not only for the first and second children, but also for each subsequent child. Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, expressed this opinion on Wednesday, June 4.

She recalled that since 2007, the payment of the maternal family capital was due at the birth of a third child.

"Today he's having his first child. Then a small amount of capital is additionally provided for the second one. But we don't solve the issues of having many children. Maybe it's time to calculate and weigh your options. Maybe, for the next budget period, consider the possibility of additional payments for the third and subsequent children," the parliamentarian said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

At the same time, Bessarab noted that today this task is quite difficult to solve. She recalled that over 30,000 sanctions have been imposed on Russia.

The parliamentarian sent an appeal to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with a request to assess the feasibility of the initiative, reports NSN.

On May 27, the State Duma adopted a bill at a plenary session in the second and third readings, according to which the deadline for considering an application for disposal of maternity capital will be reduced from ten to five days, according to the website. kp.ru .
