The best domestic wine was shown during the Russian Retail Week

As part of the Russian Retail Week in Moscow on Wednesday, June 4, the best samples of Russian wine were demonstrated and tasted.
The site of the Russian Retail Week makes important decisions for the development of the wine market, which are influenced by consumers. Their interest in domestic products is growing "steadily and steadily," said Polina Nikanorova, brand ambassador for Inkermann and Massandra. Despite the difficult weather conditions of recent years, wine production and harvest in Russia are only growing — last year they managed to harvest a record 908 thousand tons of grapes.
"Today we have brought what is already present in retail, and what we want to add to the shelf are wines of the middle price segment with decent quality, those wines that can act as an alternative to imported analogues and are designed for the consumer who consciously approaches the choice of wine," Nikanorova emphasized.
At the moment, the largest wineries in the Republic of Crimea have record levels. For example, the Massandra grape and wine factory produced 22.5 million bottles last year, which was a historic high. We told everyone at the master class today about the way Russian wine goes from vineyards to store shelves.
Earlier, on April 23, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported that in January – March, Russia produced 12.4 million dal of wine. The leaders among the regions have traditionally been the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Crimea. In total, they account for more than 60% of all products produced in the country.
