Experts have calculated the price of the new Knewstar 002 crossover in Russia

The recommended retail price of the Knewstar 002 crossover, the brand's second model in Russia, will be 3-3.2 million rubles. This was reported on June 4 by the Chinese Cars portal. He calculated the approximate price of the model based on data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade on information for calculating scrap collection, as well as taking into account the costs of customs duties, excise taxes, VAT and other factors.

It turned out that the Knewstar 002 may be cheaper than the second-generation Geely Atlas, on the basis of which the model is made. Now the Atlas crossover, which is the basis of the future novelty, costs 3.5-4 million rubles.

The Knewstar 002 was certified in Russia and received Vehicle Type Approval in February 2025. Its assembly was set up at the Yufun Auto plant in Harbin, and the pre-production version of the model was demonstrated there at the Russian-Chinese EXPO in May 2024.

Externally, the Knewstar 002 crossover differs from Geely Atlas in its exterior design. For example, it has boomerang-like running lights, a large X-shaped radiator grille and triangular blocks of head optics. The technical characteristics of the models are similar, they are equipped with a two-liter 200-horsepower engine.
