The action "Peculiarities of national cleaning" was held in Kaliningrad

The All-Russian environmental campaign "Peculiarities of national cleaning" was held in Kaliningrad on June 4.
The event was organized by the Compass Foundation and is aimed at increasing people's attention to environmental issues.
In Kaliningrad, the participants of the action collected and took out garbage in the green area along Bicycling Street and the Botanical Garden, and also planted new plants. More than 700 people took part, and a total of nine cubic meters of garbage were collected.
"Working with the regions is our main guideline. It is important for us that people's initiatives are heard. A lot is being done for the environment in the country today, but the most important thing is the opinion of the public, the opinion of the people," said Tatiana Kovaleva, director of the Compass Foundation. Her words are quoted in the foundation's Telegram channel.
It is noted that in 2025 the campaign will be held in 11 regions of Russia. Over the entire time it was held, more than 30 thousand people participated in it, who collected over 300 tons of garbage.
On May 19, the All-Russian environmental campaign "Peculiarities of national cleaning" was held in Kalmykia. Hundreds of people gathered together to clean the steppes and the "holy spring," where locals had been collecting water for generations. Many people came to the event with their families.
