- More than 20 playgrounds will be set up in the capital as part of the Pets in Moscow project

This year, more than 20 dog walking areas are planned to be built in the capital as part of the Pets in Moscow project. One of them has already opened on Kaspiyskaya Street in the Tsaritsyno district, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The old playground was renovated at the request of residents: modern exercise equipment for practicing with four-legged pets was installed and places for recreation were equipped. The territory has become three times larger, thanks to which it is now possible to hold master classes of dog handlers and other events for pet owners," said Sergunina.
A lawn was made in the main part of the playground for active games, and a rubber crumb with shock-absorbing properties was placed in the training area to minimize the risk of injury. Among the simulators installed there are a barrier, an inclined wall, a tunnel and a trench.
The Pets in Moscow project has been implemented as part of the My District program since 2021. Dozens of modern dog walking areas have already been set up — their concept was developed with the participation of specialists from the Russian Cynological Federation. Meetings with veterinarians, classes with dog handlers, and events of the "Friend, Rescuer, Defender" cycle take place in these spaces.
The Moscow Mayor's My District program involves creating comfortable living conditions in all areas of the city, from comfortable courtyards and parks to modern infrastructure facilities near the house.
