Belousov reported on the demining of most of the Kursk border area

Through the efforts of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, most of the territory of the Kursk region was cleared. This was announced on June 4 by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during a meeting on mine clearance of border territories.

"Through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, most of the territory of the Kursk region — 42 thousand hectares - was cleared," he said.
