A car fell through the asphalt after a water main burst in Kazan

A passenger car fell through the asphalt due to a water main break in Kazan. This was announced on June 4 by the press service of the Kazan vodokanal.

The incident occurred on a stretch of road on Adoratsky Street, where the ground collapsed. There are no casualties. Footage from the scene shows a car that has fallen through the asphalt.

"An emergency situation occurred on a water pipe with a diameter of 300 ml built in 1984. The water supply is located at a depth of more than 2 meters," the agency wrote in its Telegram channel.

15 specialists are working at the scene, 10 pieces of equipment were involved. In order to eliminate the emergency situation, water will be pumped out and excavation work will be carried out to determine the location of the leak and the nature of the damage.
