Spring planting of firs and maples has ended in Stavropol

The spring planting of young trees has ended in Stavropol. 87 fir trees and maples appeared in the city, the press service of the regional capital administration reported on Wednesday, June 4.

The seedlings were placed on the streets of Morozov, 50 years of the Komsomol and Kulakov Avenue. About a thousand more maples, ash trees and acacias were planted in the forests. The plants will be pruned in summer.

Landscaping of the regional center will continue in the fall. About 5 thousand more trees will be planted on the territory of the city, writes StavropolMedia news agency.

Earlier it was reported that the Stavropol authorities will allocate more than 11.5 million rubles from the city budget for the repair of LED trees on Dzerzhinsky Street. The main task is to restore the LED-RGB kit.
